At Carnell we are currently recruiting for a Lead VRS (Vehicle Restraint System) Installer to join our team. The Lead VRS installer will play a pivotal role in the successful completion of road safety projects, overseeing the installation process, prioritising safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Please note that this role will require working nights and working away on occasions.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Lead VRS Installer, you will be ensuring that our projects are executed smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure the successful completion of installations.
- Install different types of road restraint systems to the correct detail and specifications.
- Complete regular inspections of completed installations.
- Co-Ordinate with suppliers and plant team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Address and resolve challenges encountered during installations.
- Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting issues related to the installation process.
- Operate specialised equipment and machinery required for the installation of VRS
- Loading and unload of plant and materials
- Adhere to Health and Safety protocols.
- Establishing lines and levels
- Maintain accurate records of installation.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed road restraint systems.

- CSCS/FISS Blue Card
- Cat & Genny Training
- NHSS 10B Lanta VRS Card
- Safe Excavation Techniques

- Ability to work as a part of a team
