Learner Engagement Officer

In the heart of the East Midlands, an exciting opportunity awaits for a Learner Engagement Officer. The primary focus of this role is to identify and connect with potential learners through proactive community and stakeholder engagement. Your mission is to promote educational programmes and services, encouraging individuals to embark on enriching learning experiences.
Responsibilities
Build a robust learner referrals network, establishing connections with local stakeholders
Promote educational services to relevant stakeholders, fostering awareness and engagement
Create and maintain comprehensive learner and stakeholder databases for effective communication
Cultivate regular contact with learners and local stakeholders to ensure ongoing support and satisfaction
Meet weekly start targets aligned with delivery profiles, contributing to programme success
Provide support to learners in securing work experience placements and actively participate in relevant networking meetings to enhance community partnerships
Ensure accurate completion of recruitment paperwork, initiating the funding administration process
Collaborate and communicate with team members to monitor and support learner progress
Register new learners, manage online advertising, and update the vacancy management system
Develop and maintain relationships with employers to facilitate learner progress
Undertake any additional duties as required by the Senior Management Team and line manager
Skills and Experience
IAG Level 3 qualification and Safeguarding Level 2 training are desirable
Knowledge of AEB or Multiply contracted provision
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Genuine passion for working with people
Sensitivity to the needs of learners, young people, and vulnerable members of society
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Resilient and proactive in seeking new business opportunities
