Learner Support Worker

This Special Needs School located in Lambeth, London understand the crucial role that support staff play in providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with a range of special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to students, fostering a positive and nurturing relationship.
• Assist in the implementation of education and care plans designed by the school's SENCO and other professionals.
• Support students with a variety of special educational needs, ensuring their unique needs are met.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to facilitate a holistic approach to student development.
• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs.
• Understanding of various special needs and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of individuals with special needs.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £90-£100 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
