SP Training are a Carlisle based business delivering commercial training and apprenticeships for the logistics sector. As part of our ongoing expansion plans, we are looking for full time Learning Advisor to support our LGV Bootcamp Learners. We are looking for someone who enjoys supporting others to learn and develop and who is confident in speaking to people over video conferencing technology (ZOOM).
The main duties of the role will be as follows:
· Speaking to new learners to introduce the learning program, induct learners
· Assess prior learning and checking for any learning support required
· Assessing learner progress using status reports and learning software
· Monitor learning outcomes and arranging for extra sessions or support if necessary
· Supporting learners health, safety and wellbeing and following the safeguarding policy at all times
Full training is provided although it would be beneficial if you have worked in training development either as a Tutor or in administration. You will need to be very organized, IT literate, good with people, happy running regular zoom meetings, able to deal with sometimes difficult conversations to ensure learners are on track.
