The Role
The L&D Business Partner will provide professional expertise across the whole L&D agenda and partner collaboratively with stakeholders and managers.
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Lead a team of L&D professionals, providing guidance and feedback for their development, while ensuring efficient resource allocation to deliver effective learning programs
- Collaborate with HR, managers, and stakeholders to define learning objectives and review program content
- Facilitate training initiatives, including mandatory programs, and oversee the development of a new apprenticeship offer with a preferred supplier
- Act as a deputy for the Learning & Development Manager and assist in gathering data analytics for future L&D needs
- Demonstrate dedication to both personal and professional growth, continually enhancing and disseminating knowledge of best practices
- Support trainer recruitment, induction, and retention

Travel - Due to the nature of the role and organisation, the successful candidate will need to be able to travel on a hybrid basis to York. Additionally, due to the location of the services, you will need to hold a valid driving licence and have access to you own vehicle.
Job Criteria :-
- CTLLS, L&D Qualification/CIPD electives or Certificate in Education
- Certified coaching credentials
- Leadership & Management Level 5 certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations
- Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training
- Track record of creating Talent development pathways, leadership development programs, or performance management interventions
- Aptitude for effective coaching, mentoring, and staff development
