Learning and Development Co-ordinator

Elevation HR are excited to be working with a fast growing manufacturing businesses based in Selby who are looking for a Training and Development Co-ordinator to join their HR function. 

This is a newly created standalone role reporting into the HR Director where the successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, coordination, overseeing and delivering the site compliance training plan and act as the main point of contact for all employee and management training and Development queries and requirements.

Main responsibilities include:

• Working with site management to design and deliver training needs analysis and individual progression plans
• Identifying and defining training and Development gaps within the manufacturing processes to deliver sustainable improvements that result in quality product being manufactured safely at the lowest cost
• Creating and updating the training and skills matrix,  training materials, resources and manuals to ensure relevance and effectiveness
• Creating and developing engaging and interactive learning materials for various delivery methods, including in-person sessions, webinars, and e-learning platforms
• Working alongside the HR Department to signpost, coach and educate line managers
• Supporting the development of the site standard operating procedure
• Supporting the company with the site induction programme to ensure an effective on-boarding process.
• Compiling and presenting periodic data and reports to the Senior Leadership Team
• Facilitating learning initiatives
• Managing training compliance alongside any external providers
