As a Company, we continue to grow and are now seeking a passionate Learning and Development Officer to help us support, develop, improve, and embed our L&D offering to both our colleagues and customers.
As BPX continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our team and recruit a Business Development Executive to support the ambitious plans at our branch in the Newmarket (covering Cambridgeshire and Norfolk areas)
Overall Purpose of Role:
This is a brand new, full-time permanent role based at our Head Office in Rothley (LE7) and sits within our People team. The L&D Officer will be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in relation to colleague inductions and ongoing development as well as offer administration support to our Technical Team who provide product training to our customers.
This opportunity will require the successful applicant to have experience in the L&D arena, have a minimum of Level 3 Learning and Development qualification (apprentice, CIPD, or equivalent) as well as be an excellent communicator with strong administration and computer skills.
The Main Activities, Tasks or Duties will include:
* Manage the administration of the e-learning system and provide regular reports on progress and compliance
* Corresponding with delegates on attendance and pre-requirements of the course.
* Assisting with the development of a company-wide induction programme and monitoring progress.
* Manage the internal training inbox, responding in a professional and timely manner to all enquiries.
* Working alongside our manufacturers to ensure our colleagues are up to date with their product knowledge.
* Support our lunch and learn programme.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date training and system records.
* Regularly monitor training course bookings and take necessary action to prevent low attendance and ensure value for money.
* Provide regular reports on the L&D activities.
* Working within the People Team, assisting with all required administration tasks for both internal and external training, eg room booking, organising travel, venues, pre- course requirements, course evaluations and providing support for all major, group-wide events.
Technical Team Administration Support to include:
* Booking of accommodation, travel and meeting rooms.
* Maintaining the Technical Team Training Calendar and Prospectus
* Monitoring the demonstration kit and training laptops
* Liaising with delegates to provide all course information
