About the Role

As a Learning and Development Partner, you will design, deliver, and evaluate training for all non-professional roles. By building strong relationships with our practice teams and Hakim Group HQ, you will be able to understand their development needs and offer learning solutions. These solutions will not only improve individual performance but also contribute to the successful growth of the business.

Our Learning and Development Partner spends 3/4 days per week with practice teams based across Northern England, Scotland & Ireland.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

You will collaborate closely with our practice teams to provide dynamic and practical training to enhance individual and practice performance

  • Deliver engaging and interactive development sessions both face to face and virtually.
  • Design learning content that is relevant and engaging in a variety of formats from eLearning, video, virtual and face-to-face (Build eLearning content using Articulate 360).
  • Hold strong relationships with “Buddies” and team members within practices and HGHQ.
  • Ensure that the learning calendar is understood and well communicated with all key stakeholders.
  • Carry out post training interventions to measure the added value of training delivered.
  • HG Academy – Learning Management System platform ‘owner’ who understands and can use all functions, both front and back end.
  • Plan and organise training events, both BAU and bespoke, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Continually look at ways to improve delivery and content of training by seeking regular feedback from key stakeholders and learners.
  • Ensure learning materials remain up to date, relevant and aligned to be fit for purpose.
  • Engage with and provide support to any HGHQ departments who may need help designing learning relating to their areas i.e., bringing L&D expertise by sharing ideas.

The Ideal Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of optical practices and experience working in an Optical environment. You should be an excellent communicator, enjoy building relationships, love learning, and be full of creative ideas to help us continuously improve our performance.

This is a fully mobile role so a full clean driving license and access to a car is essential
