Salarytep Into Teaching is working with a College in Accrington BB5 looking for Learning and Progress Mentor to help with their students this academic year. You would be joining a team to help students engage and attend college to further their academic knowledge.
The Learning and Progress Mentor opportunity:
Learning and Progress Mentor in Accrington BB5
Full time Monday to Friday
Start ASAP for the remainder of the academic year (June 2024)
£450-£470 per week (term time only)

The successful Learning and Progress Mentor must:
Must hold a degree with a 2:2 or above
Be flexible and self-motivated
English and Maths qualifications at a minimum of level 2 / GCSE (essential)
Possess good ICT skills (desirable)
Be a team player, be flexible and adaptable with excellent inter-personal skills
Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity as well as health & safety
Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity as well as health & safety
Be able to keep students motivated and engaged
Have initiative with planning and lesson planning to have students engaged
Have an inspirational and reflective mindset within the classroom
Experience of supporting learners in an educational setting, working to support plans and evaluating the impact of the support delivered (desired)
