Learning Consultant

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £40-£50K (Plus 10% bonus + Healthcare)

Working within the Cyber Skills and Culture Transformation programme across all ScottishPower businesses, providing Learning Consultancy support to key stakeholders to ensure that training needs are identified, planned, and delivered and result in measurable performance improvement in cyber awareness, behaviours, culture and skills at ScottishPower. 

What you'll be doing

You'll be working closely with the Head of Cyber Security Strategy and Transformation and Senior Capability Consultant, to develop and implement a cyber security skills framework, enabling capability assessment, identification & prioritisation of learning needs, and supporting the design of training and career pathways.

By establishing collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, you will provide them with learning consultancy support to scope and deliver learning projects, adding value to the Cyber Skills and Culture Transformation Programmes. You'll conduct analysis to inform, design and procure sustainable learning solutions, as well as assessing business requirements and readiness for change, guiding on the best learning solutions to implement.

You'll directly input into the development of graduate and trainee programmes as well as developing training and career pathways that meet Scottish Power's current and future requirements. You'll maintain knowledge of current and development trends in learning to provide current and commercially sound solutions and support Learning Programmes and Organizational Capability projects.

You will be a strong communicator and stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at all levels including HR Business Partners, other HR leadership and strategic team members and project sponsors.

What we re looking for

  • A strong background in learning consultancy and a track record of deploying L&D best practice.

  • Experience in designing and working with skills frameworks and a strong knowledge of learning theories and methodologies.

  • A track record of supporting the diagnosing, designing, implementation of blended learning solutions at scale using online, digital delivery methods.

  • Experience of developing graduate and apprentice programmes and supporting broader disciplines such as organisational transformation change.

  • A background of developing, designing, implementing, and evaluating skills-based frameworks, products and tools that drive strategic and behavioural change at all levels within an organisation.
