About the Role
Nottingham Trent University is creating the University, reimagined. NTU will approach this by weaving face-to-face and digital provision across all new and existing courses.
FlexNTU is a new and dynamic initiative created to support the transformation of our award-winning campus-based provision through continuous innovation in methods of delivery, including support for lifelong learning. The growing Flex team is part of the Centre for Academic Development and Quality and supports the ever-changing portfolio in the pursuit of the most outstanding student experience offered within UK higher education. As well as the development of new and existing online and blended courses, the Flex team manage and support staff in the use of the Virtual Learning Environment and its related technologies.
You will be at the heart of NTU's digital learning transformation, co-designing and developing modules with academics that deliver high-quality online and blended learning. You will be assigned a portfolio of modules that you will be responsibility for throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely within the Flex team to share ideas and best practice and work together to creatively solve problems that input into our continuously improving development processes.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with academics to co-design online and blended modules through design workshops
Create and manage the development schedule of your portfolio of modules
Develop high-quality multimedia learning materials
Support the evaluation and maintenance of existing provision
Maintain personal scholarship using the latest research and rigorous evaluation of the modules you develop to input into the team's development model
NTU is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with relevant skills who wants to work in an agile team in an emerging specialism with a desire to learn. The successful candidate will go through development and support to round out their expertise.
