Position: Night Shift Support Worker
Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire
Shifts: 10pm – 7am Night Shifts
About The Service: This care provider is part of a national service and this particular care home is a purpose–built home designed to provide high–quality care for individuals with complex needs. Nestled in Alfreton it offers a supportive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate support during night shifts, ensuring the safety and well–being of residents. Assist with nightly routines, including personal care, mobility, and administering medication as required. Conduct regular checks on residents and promptly respond to any needs or emergencies. Collaborate with the care team to maintain accurate documentation of observations and activities. Utilise your experience in working with adults presenting challenging behaviors to provide effective support. Requirements:
Previous experience as a Support Worker, particularly in night shifts. Experience working with adults presenting challenging behaviors. Compassionate and person–centered approach to care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to various care needs. Relevant care qualifications are desirable. Benefits:
