What you will bedoing As a qualifiedLearning Disability Nurse (RNLD), you will ensure young people in this CAMHS Tier 4 EatingDisorder service receive high-quality care, while also supporting yourcolleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

The wards arebusy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a goodamount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:

Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursingcare to service users
• Being responsible forthe assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation ofcare
• Providing mentorshipand support to team members
Observing, recording and reporting all service userchanges, and maintaining accurate records of careprovided

Skills and knowledge you willhave

• A relevant nursing qualification
• NMC registration
Strong team-working skills A high level of self-motivation and a flexibleapproach
• A positive attitudeand be naturally caring and compassionate
• A commitment to high-quality care and to values andevidence-based practice

Brighton & Hove Clinic provides a CAMHS Tier 4 EatingDisorder service for young people aged 12 up to 18 years with aprimary diagnosis of eating disorder; or an eating difficulty witha co-morbid presentation for example mental health or psychologicalissues, such as depression, OCD or anxiety orself-harm.
