The Role
We are looking for a naturally caring individual with an enthusiasm for providing services to adults with learning disabilities to join our team as a Learning Disability Workerat our bright and cheerful registered care home in Ryde, Isle of Wight! This is a full time, permanent role working 35 hours per week on a rota basis (including weekends and sleep-ins).
As a Learning Disability Worker, you’ll have a hands-on approach to caring for our vulnerable residents, working as part of a team to help our residents gain more independence and have better opportunities to get involved within the local community. This is a truly rewarding role where you’ll play many parts within our residents’ lives.
What you'll have:
If you don’t have experience in care but you have a genuine passion for helping people to live a better life, then we’ll provide you with a full training programme to give you the skills you need to excel in this role.
You must have the right attitude to be able to work well as part of a team and adapt quickly to your surroundings. And most of all, you’ll have the ambition to learn new skills and make a positive difference to our residents’ lives!
