LEARNING FACILITATOR - SKILLS ACADEMY
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,539 - £28,083 per annum (pay award pending)

This is a "hands-on" role in our teaching workshops and your priority will be assisting and supporting groups of students and the lecturer. In a typical day, you’ll be:
Supporting lecturers to deliver practical sessions.
Ensuring tools, machinery, and workshops are maintained and clean, and are complying with all health and safety requirements.
Mixing materials, stock taking and ordering of materials and equipment
- Demonstrating skills to small groups or individuals
Relevant industrial experience would be invaluable, along with experience of sharing your skills in an educational/training environment. The ability to communicate effectivley with young people and adults and enthusiasm to help them achieve their qualification is essential. The Skills Academy has a wide and varied curriculum however we are looking for a new member of the team to predominantly work with 14-19 year old’s.
