The main role of a Learning Support Assistant is to assist learners with additional needs throughout the school day, ensuring their active engagement and providing comprehensive support during classroom activities.

Fostering a positive learning environmentRunning small group or independent learning activities with learnersProviding support to students throughout the school dayCatering to the individual needs of each child and keep up-to-date knowledge of specific learning differences (SpLD)The ability to communicate with both staff, parents and pupils on the progress of students.
