What the role involves in a nutshell:
• To provide dedicated support for children diagnosed with additional needs who require individual support to support access to learning, as well as being able to nurture the child’s social and emotional needs.
• With support from the class teacher / SENDCO: To prepare equipment and materials for identified child/children
• To supervise the child/children's work as directed by the class teacher / SENDCO
• To oversee specific educational programmes and activities devised by teachers
