The Academy

We now have a superb opportunity for a talented individual to further our inclusive approaches and shape our new Bridge provision, ensuring students receive effective targeted support to regulate behaviour and reintegrate into the main academy.
The Bridge
The Bridge is a new internal Pupil Support Unit which will be piloted with students at Key Stage 3 who need additional and intensive support to improve their behaviour and attitude towards learning so that they can successfully be reintegrated into the main school. Lessons and interventions will be run by The Bridge staff and staff from within the main school to ensure every child receives the provision they deserve.
The role
Required to start in the Summer Term, we are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant for The Bridge. You will be responsible for supporting with the sourcing, planning, delivering and/or coordinating the delivery of bespoke education packages for students identified as in need of timetable modifications, as well as teaching a percentage of timetable lessons as agreed with SLT.
You will be required to support the alternative provision in The Bridge, working closely with The Bridge Manager, Senior Vice Principal and Assistant Principal to generate a tailored offer to meet individual needs.
You will work collaboratively with the Inclusion, Safeguarding, Attendance and Pastoral Teams to ensure appropriate challenge and support for all students within The Bridge.
This is an interesting, varied and rewarding role that includes working closely with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure the identified cohort of students achieve the best possible academic, vocational, and personal outcomes including formal qualifications, attendance and post-16 pathways.
