This role is an excellent entry point to the UK Further Education sector. If you haven't got experience with supporting teaching & learning then Think FE will pay for you to complete a 6 month level 2 course to start on the day you receive your job offer.
Roles available
All salaries below are after pro rata for 36 weeks per year and for the hours. These are all different shift patterns so should suit any days per week that you are available.
Salary before pro-rata is £22,011-£22,307
- Support Mentor (LDD) - Supported Learning 15 hours per week
- Support Mentor (LDD) - Supported Learning 28 hours per week
- Support Mentor (LDD) - Supported Learning 21 hours per week
- Learning Mentor - 32 hours per week
- Support Mentor (LDD) - Supported Learning 30 hours per week
- Support Mentor 22.5 hours per week
- Learning Mentor 35 hours per week
- Learning Mentor 25 hours per week
These roles are generally working 1-1 in a classroom (or outdoors) with students with additional learning needs. Helping them to achieve their potential in any way you can.
Who are we looking for?
You will have a kind and supportive nature and a drive to help others achieve their potential. Ideally you will have some experience working with 16–19-year-olds with additional needs.
You must have a level 2 (GCSE C/4 or above) in maths and English.
A level 2 in supported learning or similar would be an advantage, however we are willing to provide you with a course at our cost.
