Job Opportunity: Leasehold Administrator (Temporary)

Position:Leasehold Administrator
Contract: 3 Months
Possibility of Extension: Yes, based on performance
Pay Rate: 18.52 per hour (PAYE)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:00
Location: E8 1DY

Job Purpose:

Homelessness Officer Prevention work - negotiating with host, aware of S21 notices being legal and eviction process, dealing with landlord harassment, know about N244 re-entry, working with probation, dealing with DV and lots more Provide Options and Advice - look at HB, DHP, maximising income, debt management, liaise with Housing Supply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality and comprehensive technical and administrative support to the Market Management Service about any of the functions undertaken.
  • Help manage and monitor procurement, voids and repairs by the KPIs set for the service.
  • Collate and analyse performance information and ensure accuracy and robust reporting data for management and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure all enquiries into the team are dealt with timely and confidently and have a full understanding of the purpose and work of all areas within the service.
  • Provide an effective, efficient and customer-focused service in line with the Corporate Policies and within national and local legislative requirements.
  • Provide high-level quality and comprehensive finance support services across the Market Management Service
  • Accurately and promptly enter accurate data into systems"

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in housing management or related field is preferred.
  • Understanding of housing laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficiency in using housing management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in housing or a related discipline are a plus.
