Leasehold and Service Charges Officer
£36,562 to £38,459 per annum (including London Fringe Weighting)
The opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Housing Operations & Safe Communities Service. You will provide a high quality front line specialist service, focusing on Leasehold and Service Charges. You will ensure all statutory requirements relating to leasehold property management are met.
Collect and prepare information from all relevant sources to enable timely and accurate billing of leaseholders for Service Charges in accordance with the lease and legislative requirements. Undertake the statutory Section 20 consultation process.
Investigate and respond to queries arising from Service Charges or other lease issues. Proactively delivering an excellent customer focused and efficient service to leaseholders.
Respond to telephone and in-person enquiries/complaints from leaseholders, tenants, staff and other customers and provide appropriate information and advice.
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.
A Basic check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
