FTE Salary: Up to  £31,983.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)

Actual Salary: Up to £25,932.16
Contract Type: Maternity cover January 2024– 5th October 2024
Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Deliver the knowledge element of the apprenticeship. Normally college based but may be work based for certain client groups
  • Marking of assignments and set homework tasks
  • Sign-up of apprentices to comply with funding and audit requirements
  • Plan individual learning plans
  • Deliver the work-based element of the apprenticeships, including on-site training, assessment and reviews
  • Liaise with staff delivering other elements of the apprenticeship, including learning support and functional skills, to ensure an effective holistic programme for the apprentice
  • Accurate recording of learner progress, attendance and other learner records including use of Smart Assessor

 

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial relevant subject experience and occupational competence
  • Teaching qualification – Desirable but not essential
  • Assessors Qualification – Desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of additional learning needs – Desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of apprenticeship delivery and assessment – Desirable but not essential
