Lecturer - Carpentry

Our Construction team based at Bedford College have an excellent opportunity for a Carpentry Lecturer. As a Carpentry Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through: preparing, delivering and assessing subject specialisms on a range of courses, specifically focussing on Carpentry/Joinery to Level 3 undertaking course administration as necessary leading and contributing to curriculum developments within the Programme Area/Centre Our ideal candidates will have experience as a teacher/trainer in an FE environment, alongside the following qualifications: Level 3 Carpentry Cert Ed/PGCE or equivalent Good standard of general education Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational values: Student centred - At our heart is always doing what is best for our students.
