The starting salary will be from £41,732 on Grade (F), depending on qualifications and experience. The post may attract a market supplement, in line with Agenda for Change 8a depending on skills and experience.

Job description
- Support the Clinical Leads in delivering clinical aspects of the training programme including clinical skills tutorials
- Contribute to the assessment strategy including module descriptors, marking process in defined area in line with TQA
- Contribute to Accreditation / registration submissions as needed within area
- Support recruitment alongside the Academic, Clinical and Programme Leads
- Provide teaching in defined areas as needed
- Provide individual tutorials to students
- Assess work and provide feedback to students
- Possess a good honours degree in Psychology or a related discipline (at least a 2:1 or equivalent)
- Possess a depth or breadth of specialist knowledge demonstrated by a doctorate level training or the necessary equivalent in Clinical Psychology or related clinical area in Mental Health of the core knowledge relating to clinical/academic area in order to teach and support learning on academic area (CBT) modules
- Possess an in-depth understanding of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, High Intensity training and supervision to facilitate the development of Trainee High Intensity Therapists towards competent CBT practice.
- Have BABCP practitioner accreditation
- Use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students;
- Participate in and develop external networks, for example, to contribute to student recruitment, secure student placements, facilitate outreach work, generate income, obtain consultancy projects, or build relationships for future activities;
- Will have evidence of excellent teaching identified by peer review and have made an impact at discipline programme level beyond their own teaching;
- Be expected to work towards Fellow of the HEA status and to attend formal CPD relating to this.
