Lecturer - Education Development

Sitting in the Teaching and Scholarship career pathway, this post is to support the development and delivery of the new Cardiff University Education Fellowship Programmes. This AdvanceHE accredited programme will offer a suite of new CPD programmes and support activities for learning and teaching staff across the University. These will lead to Advance HE Associate Fellow, Fellow and Senior Fellowship, which we will award in-house.  As part of the Education Development team within the Learning and Teaching Academy, you will develop and deliver courses from D1-D3 on the UKPSF.   You will work in collaboration with the Education Fellowships team to embed inclusivity and accessibility, including digital accessibility, within the suite of programmes, modelling effective practices that harness and celebrate diversity. You will work with colleagues within and outside the Learning and Teaching Academy to produce guidance, resources and professional learning and development opportunities designed to support colleagues in developing inclusive and digitally accessible teaching practices. Where appropriate, you will provide specialist advice and consultancy to schools on matters relating to effective and inclusive teaching, and will lead and contribute to educational enhancement projects that aim to improve learning, teaching and the student experience.   This is a full-time grade 7 open-ended position. Salary: £49,794-54,395 per annum.
