£35,170 - £43,357 per annum - pro-rata (salary placement will be dependent upon Qualifications and Experience).
Temporary 30 June 2024 (or the return of postholder whichever is the earliest)
Based Location: Rosyth Campus (may be required to travel throughout Fife)
18.27hours per week (12 hours class contact).
As part of the Electrical Engineering team you will support students in the achievement of their learning goals through providing an appropriate, effective and engaging learning experience.
You will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the curricular area, assisting team members and the Academic and Quality Manager in recruiting students and evaluating learning and teaching and to . support the achievement of the operational and strategic objectives set out in the College Regional Outcome Agreement.
You must be qualified to HND/Degree (SCQF Level 8 or 9), or, SVQ Level 4/5 in the relevant vocational area, or, hold the highest level qualification in the relevant discipline to the subject area being taught. In addition, you must have relevant current academic experience, or have demonstrable experience and practiced skills following vocational qualification.
This role requires someone with demonstrable Electrical Engineering trade experience.
Effective communication, organisation and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have the ability to inspire, encourage and motivate others together with the desire to make a real difference to our students.
