Responsibilities:
- Delivering lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students in a specific field or subject area
- Developing and implementing curriculum for assigned courses
- Preparing and delivering engaging and informative lectures
- Facilitating class discussions and promoting student participation
- Assessing student performance through assignments, exams, and projects
- Providing feedback and guidance to students to support their academic progress
- Holding office hours to provide additional assistance and support to students
- Collaborating with colleagues on course development and improvement initiatives
- Participating in departmental meetings and faculty committees as required
Experience:
- A minimum of a Master's degree in the relevant field or subject area is required; a Ph.D. is preferred
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise in the subject matter being taught
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively engage and connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms
