Qualified: Pt 27-32 £30,274 - £35,033 per annum

Are you a passionate and experienced hairdresser with a talent for teaching? Peterborough College is looking for a dedicated Lecturer in Hair and Barbering to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the next generation of hairdressing professionals.
In this role, you will:
Develop and deliver engaging hairdressing programs for students at various levels.
Assess student learning and progress, providing constructive feedback to help them excel.
Motivate and inspire students, fostering a love for the hairdressing industry.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques to enrich the curriculum.
To be successful, you should have:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in hairdressing (or relevant experience).
A Level 5 teaching qualification (or a strong willingness to obtain one – we can help!).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students.
A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate others.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A commitment to professional development and staying current in the industry.
