Job description

About This Position We are welcoming applications for a Lecturer in 3D Games Art and Digital Design on a full time (37 hours per week), and permanent basis. Joining us as a Lecturer you must deliver excellent and inclusive teaching and learning in the classroom to inspire learners to succeed and progress. You will integrate appropriate and inspirational curriculum resources including ILT into lessons and plan delivery so that schemes of work, lesson plans, high-quality formative and summative assessments support achievement. Educated to degree level or equivalent in Games Art / 3D Digital Design, you must have experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for NT’s) in Games Art/ 3D Digital Design and hold a teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills. Some industry experience is preferred however, the successful candidate must have a strong creative design knowledge of Adobe editing software and Blender. Knowledge of the UAL Creative curriculum would be advantageous. The role requires an individual with the ability to deliver exceptional teaching and learning and inspire, motivate and engage a range of learners. Capable of producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans, you should demonstrate a background of inclusive and challenging teaching strategies to meet learners individual needs.
