Job description

About the Role We are looking to appoint a Lecturer inControl Systems and Power Engineering to support teaching and research in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). About You The post requires an effective communicator of new and complex ideas with an ability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of the target audience. You will have a PhD, or equivalent experience, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and be passionate about your work in at least one of the following areas: Control Systems; robust and resilient control networks; large-scale uncertain systems; electrical machines and Power Engineering with applications in power grids; microgrids; power electronics converters and renewable; and/or efficient solutions for a net-zero future. This is a research-active post and you should therefore have a track-record of high-quality research in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with your future research plans being be clear and ambitious.
