Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The post holder will support the delivery of teaching in computer science with the specialism in Data Analytics and will contribute to research in the Intelligent Systems Research Centre (ISRC) in the area of Data Analytics, supporting the necessary environments and relationships required to grow this key area. The appointee is expected to contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes within the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems. - ABOUT YOU - - Hold a first or upper second-class honours degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related discipline, or a higher degree in the same or closely related subjects. - Hold a PhD in Data Analytics, AI, Computer Science or cognate discipline. - Evidence of recent research and development activity commensurate with individual career path to date.
