Bedford College, are currently recruiting for a Maternity Cover- Lecturer of Care, Childcare and Counselling at our Bedford Campus. Lecturers at Bedford College, play a pivotal role in the success of our students to: To prepare, deliver, assess and verify subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels. To support and guide students to achieve success and realise their potential. To manage students’ learning and provide a high-quality learning experience. To contribute pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching. To participate in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities. Ideal candidates will have experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, alongside the following qualifications: Heath and Social Care or Childcare related qualification at Level 3 and above or equivalent in related subject area English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent Certificate in Education (or willing to work towards) Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values: Valuing Teamwork - We are one team who by working together can achieve great things, respecting the opinion and valuing the contribution each of us makes. About Bedford College Bedford College has a number of sites across the town and surrounding areas, these include our main Cauldwell Street campus in the heart of the town, our hair and beauty salon on the High Street, the advanced automotive centre on Brunel Road and the gas and technology plumbing centre in Kempston.
