Job description

Henley Business School’s International Business and Strategy Department intends to appoint a Lecturer in Human Resource Management. The role will involve research, teaching and administrative duties. The role is aligned to a researcher who has the potential for high-quality research activity and who has a potential pipeline of work and ideas in the field of Human Resource Management, broadly defined. The department aspires to remain at the forefront of research and teaching, through its contribution to the activities of the World of Work Institute, which aims to understand how businesses face the future of work by applying innovative research to real workplaces. The department is also known for hosting the Dunning Centre for International Business, one of the world's premier research centres in international Human Resource Management, international business and strategy with internationally renowned members, including Professors Chris Brewster, Mark Casson, Davide Castellani, Rajneesh Narula and Alain Verbeke. An ideal candidate will align to both the World of Work Institute and the Dunning Centre. You will have: A PhD in a core discipline in Human Resource Management, Management, Organisational Behaviour, International Business, Strategy, or related fields (or close to completion). Evidence of developing a strong research profile and potential to publish in internationally recognised outlets. Experience of teaching in the areas of Human Resource Management, Management, Organisational Behaviour, International Business or Strategy, broadly defined.
