Salary Grade J in the range £41,732 - £46,974; Grade K in the range £48,350 - £54,395 (for the Lecturer role); Grade L in the range £57,696 - £64,914 per annum (for the Senior Lecturer role) The role Better futures for all At Bristol, we are developing a forward-thinking, socially-minded Business School. We are seeking business & management scholars who are willing to help lead positive societal change and are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Marketing as part of our substantial new growth phase. There is one vacancy available within the department and we are open to recruiting at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level depending on the applications we receive. You will be involved in a range of education and research activities in the school in a highly collegial and collaborative manner as follows: Developing a strong international research & impact profile in business and management and attracting external research funding. Teaching and marking at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels and contributing to curriculum design, development and enhancement. Acting as personal tutor to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students; and supervising MSc and PhD students. Demonstrating excellent citizenship and potential for leadership in the school and contributing to wider University. Engaging in collaborative opportunities with the public, private and not-for profit/charitable sectors. You should apply if You have the valuable previous experience (or show potential) to conduct the role with high levels of professionalism and collegiality. You hold a PhD in a relevant subject area. You have excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills. You have a strong business and management, interdisciplinary research portfolio/ambition and a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. You can demonstrate awareness of the academic needs of all kinds of students (e.g. undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral).
