Lecturer in Sport

Full Time permanent position, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The sports strand delivers programmes from L1-L5 and we are seeking someone who is keen to deliver on our Sport Science, Personal Training and HE Sports programme. The right candidate will have the desire to continue to support excellent teaching, learning and assessment with the intent to support the growth of the strand.

The College is keen to hear from resilient, creative and highly motivated individual to join our Sport team on the journey to outstanding. The right candidate will be a well- motivated individual wishing to share skills and knowledge with students looking to progress into employment and/or Higher Education.

You will need to possess excellent communication skills and be highly organised. You should have proven experience of teaching L2 Gym instructing, L3 Personal Training, L3 Sport and Exercise Science, with additional experience of delivering at level 1-5 and be passionate about Sport.

You will have a proven track record of being committed to achieving high standards of performance, proactive and understand student needs and expectations. The role will encompass the academic and pastoral needs of the strand, and you will undertake a tutorial role alongside your teaching commitment. In addition to this, you will support the personal development framework by committing to delivering recreational sports on Wednesday afternoons.
