We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual, preferably a qualified teacher, to join a growing and popular Sports and Public Services curriculum area. The successful candidate will predominantly teach on a range of units on Level 1 - 3 programmes in Uniformed Public Services which may include understanding discipline in the services, dealing with emergency incidents, emergency planning, sports coaching and mental, physical well -being.
The ideal candidate would need to have experience of working within the fitness or sport industry as they would be teaching across curriculum areas, in particular a range of units on level 1-4 programmes within the sports curriculum that are based around fitness training, participating in Sport, anatomy and physiology, sports psychology and strength and condition.
There will be regular opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities including outdoor activities and fitness training. Some experience of working in one of the Public Services or local government will be advantageous to this post but not essential.
