About us The Bartlett School of Planning at UCL is a research-led planning school at the forefront of tackling major urban priorities and challenges. As an interdisciplinary centre of excellence, it plays a leading role in shaping debates in the fields of urban planning, urban studies, geography, urban design, and real estate. It also offers a range of innovative taught programmes on planning and the built environment. About the role The School is seeking to appoint one Lecturer (Grade 8) in UrbanEconomies and/or Environmental Planning to strengthen its capacity in engaging with existing and emerging priorities and challenges facing cities in the UK and globally. We would especially welcome applications in the fields of sustainability and resilience, the governance of Environmental Planning, local and regional development, and urban and economic geography. About you Requirements of the role: Awarded PhD in the field of planning, urban studies, or a related discipline. Research/Teaching specialism in UrbanEconomies and/or Environmental Planning Publication in peer-reviewed journals (at a level commensurate with grade of appointment) – the post-holder must be returnable to REF irrespective of starting grade.
