We are seeking an experienced Art Lecturer to join our SEN team and contribute to the effective planning and organisation of our courses here at the Nido Volans Center- Bexley. The successful candidate will teach Art on a variety of independence and employability-related courses to students of varying abilities, spanning multiple levels, including pre-entry courses up to Entry Level 3.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality instruction across a range of courses and levels.
  • Work with different awarding bodies to ensure course standards and requirements are met.
  • Assist the Curriculum Manager with curriculum development and the expansion of the department.
  • Promote and support the growth of the Nido Volans courses.
  • Engage with students to foster a supportive and effective learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in teaching Art at various levels.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work with students of diverse abilities.
  • Commitment to contributing to curriculum development and departmental growth.
  • a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy and be a qualified FE teacher or be willing to work towards this.
