About the role: The Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering is recruiting a Lecturer to support teaching activities on undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This teaching-specialist academic role covers the design, delivery and development of teaching. This is a great opportunity to get involved in writing resource materials for teaching, and to develop and supervise coursework and assessment activities. Teaching will take place within University of Bath campus and may also involve taking students on site visits. The position will provide an opportunity to work with architects, engineers and scientists to create new teaching material and enrich the student experience. This position is offered on a part time (15 hours) basis, Fixed Term until the end of March 2025. About you: Our ideal candidate will have: A multi-disciplinary academic training which combines architectural design, history of art, materials and building archaeology The candidate should have a diverse portfolio of publications including academic papers, and architectural monographs Well-developed interpersonal skills including interactive teaching and student support Commitment to excellence in education and to providing the highest quality experience for students Experience in teaching is essential.
