Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Animal Science
£37,458 - £59,994 per annum (pro rata) (2 years fixed term)
About the Role
Based at the Brackenhurst Campus, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, an opportunity has arisen to join an experienced team in the delivery of a suite of animal courses. We are looking to fill the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Animal Science to prepare and deliver interactive sessions to both undergraduate and postgraduate students using a range of engaging student-centred learning activities, including online learning. We are particularly looking for an individual with experience in teaching research methods and data analysis, and a knowledge of animal and conservation genetics would be helpful.
You will be motivated and enthusiastic, contributing to learning and teaching activities whilst also being able to provide academic mentoring for students. You will be supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects. An experience of teaching in Higher Education would be beneficial but not essential.
