About the role Do you have experience of working within the area of OMICS related biomedical research and training, especially with extensive experience in Proven skills in using a range of Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LCMS) instrumentation including, Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) high resolution mass spectrometry (MS) and quantitative MS? Do you have experience in running and maintaining waters Xevo G2-xs-qTof and Xevo TQS instruments? An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science (OMICS) to be engaged in research and enterprise activities within the Facility for Omics Research in Metabolism (FORM) and involved in developing and delivering an innovative and flexible range of learning and teaching materials for students, academics, and external collaborators. You should have experience in a range of relevant laboratory and practical skills within the multi-OMICS approaches for clinical diagnostics, including bioinformatics related data analysis that are linked to biomedical science related research and teaching. As well as knowledge within the subject area of biomedical science and understanding the interplay amongst different signalling mechanisms in health and disease status. A clear understanding of biomedical science in practice and a grasp of biomedical science disciplines with the clear understanding of the environmental influences for biomedical health is also essential.
