The University has a distinctive, employability-focused educational offer and works closely with employers to address the skills needs of today’s workforce. Applications are invited for the following post: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Primary Education Hours of Work: Full time and part time available (3.6 FTE positions) Salary:                    The starting salary will be from £35,333 to £51,805 per annum in Grade 7/8, depending on qualifications and experience. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, collaborative, high-performing academic member of staff to contribute to our programmes in Primary Education and teacher development, including our NPQ and ECF provision. Leeds Trinity has a proud tradition of working in Teacher Education and these posts represent part of a significant investment in the School of Education.  Our Primary Education provision includes undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for both 3-7 and 5-11 age phases, including a partnership of trusted lead providers and PGCert provision developed with our fantastic partnership schools.  We are currently seeking to enhance our provision across Science, PE, Art and Design and Computing, as well as our NPQ and ECF offer.  Experience of teaching and/or leading these subjects would be welcomed, as well as experience of developing qualified teachers, including those at the early career stage. Candidates should be able to contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development and partnership activities in the field of Primary Education, working across the age phases 3-11.  Candidates should also be able to use their expertise to support and mentor students throughout school-based training.
