LEGACY MANAGEMENT TEAM LEADER

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Reports to:Legacy Management Lead

Department: Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement

Location: Stratford w/ high-flex (1 - 2 days per week in the office) or home-based

Employment type: Permanent

Working hours: 35 hours per week (Compressed Hours available)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Legacy Management Team Leader. We need you to support the management and development of Cancer Research UKs Legacy Giving product strategy, specifically supporting the vision to build sector leading partnerships with key legacy audiences. Further to this, you'll manage, support and inspire a high performing team of Legacy Management professionals to meet legacy objectives and KPIs.

What will I be doing?

  • Working collaboratively with legacy colleagues to plan and oversee the delivery of the professional partnership engagement strategy

  • Supporting the Performance Manager in monitoring and reporting on the growth and engagement of our professional network, including the realised income of our legacy products

  • Working as part of cross-functional team to maintain our market share by developing a community of best practice in building professional partnerships and helping to develop and maintain excellence in case management

  • Overseeing the accuracy and integrity of the legacy administration across the team, taking action where necessary, on data accuracy, audit standards and ensuring KPIs whilst adding value where possible

  • Leading on ensuring our audiences are appropriately recognised and thanked, making introductions to cultivation teams

  • Managing and motivating a team of Legacy Management Officers to enhance solicitor engagement activity

  • Developing and supporting the Legacy Management Executives to build solid foundations in both Legacy Management and Professional Engagement

  • Encouraging a culture of empowerment, building a community of best practice across the team

  • Working collaboratively as part of cross-functional team to deliver initiatives aligned to the legacy operational plan.

What skills are you looking for?

  • Stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to quickly get buy in and work collaboratively

  • Experience of managing and motivating a large team

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure

  • A proven track record of success in managing or helping to manage volumes and variety of legacy casework.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome issues, propose solutions and make sound commercial decisions

  • Ability to identify and build on new opportunities

  • A flexible approach, to comfortably manage ambiguity and changing environments/contexts

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, creating connections to make great things happen.
