Search is delighted to be working with a Scottish legal firm to appoint a Legal Administrator to join their Edinburgh Litigation team. You will be responsible for providing organisational and administrative support to the wider team and have autonomy to manage your own workload.
You will be working alongside and supporting fee earners and will ideally come from a Litigation background in a similar role.
Responsibilities
This will be a highly varied role and the list of responsibilities is not exclusive to the following:
- Arrange and coordinate events, meetings and travel.
- Utilising client management software for the management of hard and soft copy files.
- Audio and copy typing of large legal documents.
- Legal case project management.
- Manage your own portfolio of work.
Key skills
- You will have extensive administrative experience.
- Have polished professional communication skills with both colleagues and clients.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Be familiar with legal terminology.
- Experience of Track Change.
- Have experience managing your own workload.
Due to the nature of this role, we will only be considering applications from those with extensive administration experience from a professional services background.
