Legal And Compliance Specialist

Proclinical is seeking a Legal and Compliance Specialist to support a team. This role involves answering general compliance queries, organising documents, operating IT systems and approving materials and contracts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organised and a strong communicator.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, manage and mitigate local compliance risks.
• Provide guidance to the organisation on compliance matters and act as a point of contact for basic compliance queries.
• Devise and implement suitable Legal and Compliance processes.
• Check the accurate completion of templates and manage Legal and Compliance templates and related documentation.
• Oversee governance for information and documentation storage across the organisation.
• Manage governance for information and documentation storage within the Legal and Compliance department.
• Operate relevant tools and systems such as Docusign and contract repositories for contract management.
• Provide day-to-day support in relation to Department operations, such as communications and administration.

• Strong communication skills.
• Outgoing and collaborative personality.
• Willingness to take responsibility and ability to engage proactively with multiple stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of contracts and confidence in reading contractual documents.
• Proficiency with IT systems and tech-savviness.
• A law degree is preferable.
• Working knowledge of project management and/or business process management is preferred but not essential.
