Venn Group’s legal team are working with a dynamic Local Authority based in London in their search for a Legal Assistantto join their Contract’s team on a locum basis.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Legal Assistant who has a strong understanding and experience in undertaking commercial and contracts work. Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.
The Local Authority are seeking a Legal Assistant to join the team to work with clients to complete the execution of contracts.
Duties shall include:
1. Ensuring that the details of the particular winning bidder and their bid are accurately reflected in the final written contract
2. Understanding the nature of the particular contract and how it will work in practice
3. Organising tender documentation to ensure the specific and relevant material is included in the final version
4. Arranging sealing and signing by the contractor and the Council of the final contract
