Legal Assistant

Main responsibilities of this Legal Assistant role:
" Support the department with administrative tasks
" Interact with clients and provide updates, including fact to face meetings
" Undertake (with training) typing and digital dictation
" Assist fee earners with file opening/closing processes
" Deal with court queries and form processing
" Enter files onto the case management system ensuring the due diligence and money laundering checks are completed and recorded
" Ensure that court timescales are adhered to
" Work effectively with individuals internally and externally to meet client needs
Skills required for this Legal Assistant role:
" Experience as a legal secretary would be ideal
" Comfortable working within the team and alone
" Positive and solution focused approach
" Ability to keep calm when prioritising high volumes of workloads
" Must be computer literate and competent using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
" Customer service skills
" Experience of case management systems would be advantageous
Job Details of this Legal Assistant role:
" Salary - £22,000
" Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
" Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00
