The Role:
Applicants must have a good customer service, communication and computer skills and the role will include but is not limited to the following:
· Answering phone calls and dealing with case progression queries form clients/estate agents/3rd party lawyers
· Providing costs estimates (there is a standard form and process)
· When quote accepted dealing with the client onboarding process/opening files;
· Diary and Key date management for client appointments, completion dates, court hearings, file review dates etc
· Scanning post to our electronic case management system and notifying case handlers/fee earners that new documents are available to be reviewed;
· Generally assisting the Fee Earners and case handers with the day to day running of the file from the start through to post completion.
· Previous legal experience an advantage but not absolutely necessary as more important will be a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.
