Salary.
Role Description:
?Areas of work include the following:
- Employment
- drafting employment contracts based on instructions from senior management;
- managing (including instructing external counsel) any pre-contentious and contentious employment issues;
- Commercial contracts:
- primary point of contact for review and preparation of all ‘business as usual’ commercial contracts including non-disclosure agreements, SaaS agreements, Client terms of business, third party services contracts, Client engagement letters/mandates, real estate leases and licences;
- supporting with reviews of ISDA and similar derivatives agreements;
- supporting the Prime Brokerage team with prime brokerage related documentation (experience in this area useful but not required);
- Corporate:
- assisting with general company secretarial duties (e.g. attending meetings, drafting minutes, preparing resolutions);
- assisting with other corporate documentation (e.g. as required for funding rounds and potential acquisitions).
- Contentious Matters – assisting the General Counsel in the management (including instructing external counsel) in relation to general (non-employment) contentious matters.
- Financial Services/Regulatory – assisting the General Counsel with legal queries and activities relating to the Group’s regulated activities, particularly in the UK.
