Job Description
- Provide legal advice to various business units
- Manage legal risk within the company
- Ensure company is compliant with relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures
- Handle contractual agreements and disputes
- Lead the legal department effectively
- Work closely with the executive team on legal matters
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
- A law degree from a recognised university
- Experience in managing a legal team
- Strong understanding of retail & media industry laws and regulations around Marketing and Advertising.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
